On 6 February 2023, a massive earthquake struck the region of southern Turkey and northwestern Syria. It occurred 32.4 km (20.1 mi) west–northwest of Gaziantep. There was widespread damage and tens of thousands of fatalities. Watch the video to get an impression of the situation that the survivors find themselves in.
