The Baloch People is a unique ethnicity who has their own Language (Balochi). They, originally, live in Balochistan Southwest of Asia in the Iranian Plateau. Originally, they are Sunna Muslims. However, in the recent years, the Gospel of Christ began to spread among them, and many of them have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Of course, things are not easy. In such a tribal society, accepting Christ may cause to the new convert an isolation from his tribal community. And one of the challenges is to provide Gospel materials in their own language. But we trust in our Lord and Savior to protect and provide for His children.
Please pray for:
1. Pray for God to accelerate the translation and widespread distribution of the Bible in the Balochi language.
2. Pray for Baloch believers facing challenges and fear of Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the Gulf region Islamic governments.
3. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work powerfully through media content (videos, articles, etc.) reaching Baloch individuals who are seeking truth. May their hearts be softened, their minds opened, and their spirits drawn to the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
4. Pray for Baloch Christian parents to be faithful examples of godly living, raising their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. May their children grow in wisdom, stature, and in favor with God and man.
5. Pray for the provision of necessary funds to recruit another dedicated Baloch worker for the Media Ministry. May God raise up more laborers for the harvest field among the Baloch people.
6. Pray for effective discipleship programs to equip Baloch believers with the knowledge and tools they need to grow in their faith and become mature followers of Jesus Christ.
7. Pray for God to open doors and hearts for the establishment of new churches among the Baloch people. May strong, vibrant communities of believers take root and flourish.
8. Pray for God to perform miraculous signs and wonders among new Baloch believers who pray in Jesus' name. May these demonstrations of His power strengthen their faith and serve as a powerful witness to others.
