Communio Messianica Urges Global Prayer and Support for the Iranian Underground Church

Communio Messianica, a global fellowship representing Muslim Background Believers (MBBs), stands in solemn solidarity with the brave Christian converts in Iran who are currently facing increased persecution. Recent reports indicate a significant rise in arrests, imprisonments, and unjust sentencing of Iranian believers—many of whom worship in secrecy and are falsely accused of being "Zionist agents" or threats to national security. These individuals are subjected to harsh interrogations, prolonged detentions, and, in some cases, even the threat of execution simply for their faith in Jesus. We call upon the global Church to fervently pray for the Iranian underground church, advocate on their behalf, and ensure that their suffering is not forgotten.

Communio Messianica is dedicated to validating, equipping, and empowering MBBs worldwide, and today we focus our attention on the suffering Iranian converts whose resilience and faith inspire us all. As a voice for MBBs globally, we urge Christian leaders, ministries, and believers everywhere to stand with the Iranian underground church—not only through prayer but also through tangible support, advocacy, and raising awareness. We echo the words of Scripture: “If one part suffers, every part suffers with it” (1 Cor. 12:26). Let us not remain silent. Now is the time for the global Body of Christ to respond with bold compassion.
